International Younger Chemists Network
Established as a task force in Boston, 2015 and officially launched in Brazil, 2017 as an associate member organization of IUPAC; we are a global network of young chemists working to establish a platform to communicate, mentor, and collaborate across the world.
The IYCN Mission
Our mission is “to create a unified global network of young chemists to communicate, collaborate, educate, and mentor”. IYCN aims to be inclusive in every possible way, welcoming members from across the scientific community. Whilst we encourage IYCN members to be involved in other societies, a platform like IYCN is unique in that we focus on bridging international borders.
A network such as IYCN can only succeed if young chemists from all nations have the opportunity to join, network and participate. We are passionate to connect with younger chemists globally, and we continue to seek out ambassadors from those countries that are underrepresented in our network. We encourage you to reach out to us directly if you are interested in learning more!
